.jpg) We have now replaced the Lakewood SFI 6.3 steel bellhousing with a new lighter unit from Brunos Racing Transmission in US. The difference is 25 LBS, 36 LBS on the steel compare to the 11 LBS on the aluminum BRT bellhousing.
.jpg) The new lighter part with the SFI 30.1 tag, fully legal in Advanced ET / Top Doorslammer but not in the FIA Pro Mod. But the FIA Pro Mods do´t allow turbo chargers, so who cares about them...
.jpg) When talking with Mr Dan Parker at the Orlando World Street Finals in October he suggested to have a additional lower part on the bellhousing. He was using an extra half on the bellhousing on Mr John Gulletts new Twin turbo Escort. This second half makes the bellhousing to protect at 360 degrees and are made from 3 and 4mm plates, weights aprox 2 LBS. Good for me, the car and the race track !
